I cannot say enough great things about working with Empowered Running! I first reached out to work on my fitness and weight loss for my upcoming wedding. Melanie is so easy to work with and knows exactly when to push you harder and when you need a break. I think the most important lesson I learned from her was to give my body some grace and that rest is sometimes the best workout. From her bootcamps that will literally leave you drenched in sweat to private sessions that leave you feeling like a fitness warrior, you will not be disappointed with the physical and mental changes.

Melanie is an elite trainer, running coach, and an outstanding motivator and not because it’s part of her job description but because she’s passionate about helping people become and be the best versions of themselves. She works hard to make sure that her clients achieve the results that they want and deserve. She is educated as well as experienced with exercises and nutrition. I have trained with Melanie from group fitness classes to achieving a sub two Half Marathon. When it comes to my personal fitness goals, Melanie worked with me to understand the obtainability of those goals, we established a plan, a schedule, and she held me accountable. Her personality and approach encourages me to want to continuously push my limits . In between running and training I love to take Melanie’s boot camp on Saturday mornings. It’s a welcome environment and supportive environment and I will say even with a group of several, she still manages to focus on the individual needs of each and everyone of her participants because she customizes workouts to optimize the exercises for all fitness levels, from beginner to intermediate. Its always a great workout and if you think you are going to give up, Melanie is right there to push you through it.
